2014 Buddy Walk

October is Down syndrome awareness month. A little over a year ago I had no idea this even existed. Now that we are plugged into the Down syndrome community, it is incredible to see how many events and resources there are. Last Sunday we participated in the Puget Sound Buddy Walk, which is an annual walk to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. Not only was it a lot of fun, it gave me yet another opportunity to realize what an amazing family we have. Everyone was there to support Noah and that meant a lot to us. I'm sure this will be the first of many Buddy Walks in our future.

Thanks to my friend Kristin for helping us get some awesome shirts!

The whole gang.

Landon was so excited!

Gma and Gpa watching Landon playing in the fountain.

Thanks to all who participated to raise awareness, promote inclusion and celebrate differences!

It was so much fun to support Noah and all of those beautiful and wonderful kids with down syndrome. Very excited for this to be an annual family event :)
